- After making herself look okay, she got her work clothes and drove to his favorite restaurant. He wasn't there yet, so she waited. Her stomach rumbled after a few minutes, and she went inside and checked the time. It was just then noon, so she went ahead and sat down.
- "I'm meeting someone," she said, not recognizing the waiter as he came over.
- "No problem," he said, smiling. "Can I get you a drink?"
