Chapter 46
- Alec kept her head down until she was sure they were gone. Then she looked up at Ian who had gotten out of his chair to move to the door. Pushing his face up to the slight space around it, he looked outside.
- “I think they’re gone.”
- Pulling at the ropes around her wrists, she glared at him. “Get me out of here. I don’t want to be here when they get back.”
