• Alec leaned on the back of the chair. “I’m not getting it. What is it you do and don’t say corporate research specialist, because that says nothing.”
• Rubbing his jaw, he thought about it for a moment. “You know when two companies come out with almost identical products or ideas within a few weeks of each other?” She nodded. “How do you think that happens? Do you think two people have the exact idea at the same moment? Afterward, they spend months setting up marketing, tests, and preparations to launch it?”
