Chapter 11 Deceptive Tranquility
- The feeling of helplessness and loneliness enveloped me instantly when I realized I needed some attention after that nightmare, and I didn't receive it. As a result, I spent the entire morning locked in the hotel room, watching random series, while my husband sorted out his affairs somewhere in Santorini.
- After a room service lunch, since I was forbidden to go out alone, I decided to set the television aside and sit on the balcony, losing myself in the vastness of the Aegean Sea. Memories of our family beach outings, or at least a part of them, as my father and Alessio rarely joined us, came to mind.
