Chapter 19

• Isabelle paced back and forth in her room, her mind racing with thoughts of Axel and the meaning behind his wallpaper. She had dashed out of the room earlier, afraid to let herself hope for something more.
• But now, as she stood there, she couldn't help but wonder if he felt the same way. Did he have feelings for her too? The uncertainty gnawed at her, and she couldn't shake the feeling of longing mixed with fear.
• As she turned around, lost in her thoughts, the door unexpectedly swung open and Axel walked in. Isabelle's eyes widened, her heart pounding in her chest.
