Chapter 39 The Throne Is Not Hereditary

• "Why did the king eat with the Immortals" I asked him and he smiled "You are aware that inside here there is a grand dining?" he said and I mentally scanned the whole Kings castle and nod "Yeah, more like golden dining. " I said "Yeah, the previous king eats with his advisers here, although the main place for the king and Immortals to eat at is in the main castle grand dining, it depends on your interaction and closeness with that will determine where you choose to eat with them." he said and I frowned whilst stroking his hair because he is now laying on my chest "You haven't answered my question" I said and he chuckled.
• "The kings eat with Immortals because they are his family, in our kingdom, the throne is not hereditary as you have deduced, the five gods or rather the so Sovereigns are the ones that chooses who become the king, a king as long as he didn't ascend, he would remain the king for eternity until he ascends and if he starts misbehaving, the sovereigns are the one to punish him." he said and I denominated "But what if the king later give birth to a child?" I asked.
