• "I have to talk to Trevor," I stated simply, finally walking further into the room and getting into the balcony. I couldn't help but admit that the view was amazing, as was the cool air that connected with my face and sent my hair flying around me. Trevor answered the call on the second ring. "Hey, Trevor. We just got into town." I said to him. There was shuffling on the other side of the phone before he responded.
• "Glad you had a safe trip, Keera." He replied but there was a distracted note in his voice. I creased my brows, ready to ask what it was all about before he told me himself. "Yeah, something came up. I had to meet the police concerning some case I'm overseeing. It was impromptu or I would have called to inform you beforehand." I asked if everything was okay and he assured me it was nothing to be worried about. "It looks like I'd be here for a while so how 'bout we reschedule and meet by nine tomorrow?"
