Chapter 3 Aseal
- Asael’s POV
- I stand to watch as petals are laid on the aisle in preparation for tomorrow. The mix of white and purple fabrics flowing colourfully as they hang on the canopy.
- The wedding will be done in the open air, the same as Rhea's. I know she's mad about it, but Allen found a way to make her accept that we will have it in the same open field, at the same time.
- The only thing that differs my section from hers is the colour of her fabric. It's a mix of white and baby pink.
- Rhea keeps glaring at me as she watches preparations go on for my wedding, too, very close to hers. It's clear she's irked.
- Beatrice and Sophie fold their arms and glare at me, also. Rhea's clearly the only business they have with how well they cling to her.
- “I'm glad they aren't even trying to come here.” Sloane comes from behind me and says. “They look so bitter.”
- “That's what I want.”
- We both put on a smile as Eryx, the adopted son of my uncle, Marcus, walks towards us. He is someone who's adored by all. His gentle attitude and self-accumulated wealth speaks as he was announced the richest man in the country, last two years and has stayed top of the list.
- “I don't know about this toxic similarity going on between you and Rhea, but I wonder why you're so calm for how much she rages.” His smile makes me forget the steely gaze of Rhea for a while.
- “She always has to be the one making me an enemy of hers. I've dealt with it more than I should. I'm no longer bothered.”
- He nods.
- “How about I lead you out of here for a while?” His voice, calm and low.
- “Uggh! These people just can't get things done tightly. How can they place these sunflowers like this?” Sloane walks off in pretence, leaving me no other option.
- “I guess I'm left with you now.”
- We walk away from my side of the preparation and had to pass through Rhea’s side.
- “How about we go through this other route?” Eryx tries to avoid us clashing with Rhea.
- “It's fine.” I smile and lead us towards her direction.
- “How's it going?”
- We were yet to get closer to her when she steps out to my front. Beatrice and Sophie, behind her, with champagne hanging loosely in their hands.
- “Look who's here, girls. It's the girl from Jail.” She tilts her head to the left and looks at me pitifully. “You know, I've been thinking, who's going to stand in for you when you as your mom and dad?”
- She paces her step carefully as she approaches me.
- “Don't you dare speak about my family.”
- “Or what?” She stares daringly at me and yells with a loud voice, calling attention to us.
- I won't allow her to disregard my person in public again, so I face her squarely.
- “I know you're a power house of trauma. I'd advise you not to cross me.”
- “You won't fucking tell me what to do. Eryx, what on earth are you doing with her?” She forces him to her side by grabbing him.
- I feel cold as Eryx leaves my side. The warmth I felt as I walked with him, almost leaning on his wide torso was now gone.
- “You don't belong here, Murderer!”
- “How dare you!” I move closer to her, in the hope of tearing her apart.
- The hurt and memories I bury spirals as she points fingers again at me. A flash back to the exact day I was taken into prison despite being innocent.
- Eryx comes between the two of us, trying to prevent things from escalating.
- “Yes! That's who you are.” She laughs scornfully.
- Eryx drags her away.
- Rhea's words break me as I stand still.
- “Are you alright?” Sloane walks over to me in a hurry and hugs my shoulder.
- “I'm fine!” I respond in a curt, watching how people look at me in sheer disgust. At least, that's what I can see on their faces. Accusations.
- I run away to a more quiet place and sit alone.
- “Champagne?” Someone walks over to me after I had sat by myself for a while.
- I take it and gulp it down. As the person walks off.
- I begin to feel my eyes turning. I try to take another glance at who it was that handed me the glass of champagne, so I stand up, staggering.
- I fall immediately.
- Not to the floor. But into a familiar smell and voice, “Asael, Asael, can you hear me?”
- It responds in my ear like a hollow echo.
- I feel my body lift in the air, in motion.
- The alluring scent that oozes out from the person who lifts me makes me feel like rubbing myself on him.
- My eyes open as water is sprinkled on my face.
- I still couldn't get myself.
- “Asael, are you better?” A familiar voice asks.
- I nod gently, but my body rises from within. The urge to be touched.
- “I'm hot,” I say, struggling to lose my clothes.
- “ The AC is turned on already. You shouldn't feel hot. I should turn it off and open the doors and windows then.” Confusion spirals in his voice as he speaks.
- He leans over to help with the window of the side of the car he placed me in.
- Eryx's sharp jawline and curved lips catch my attention. I couldn't help but go for a kiss.
- He didn't shake it off.
- He leans in and kisses me passionately.
- He moves slowly from my lips to my neck. Sending chills down my body.
- I couldn't hold back.
- I struggle to pull down my dress, and he fixes his hands in between my boobs, rubbing gently before he carefully moves his hands up to my back and loosen my zip.
- My boobs perk out immediately.
- The tingles as he places his lips on my nipple and sucks, his hands, swirling round my other boob .
- I moan, wanting every bit of it and more.
- He stretches his hands and reaches for the keys to his car. He removes it from ignition, turning off the light in the car.
