• I look at my phone, and my face turns pale. The message that entered is from my father, and he is requesting to meet me regarding my new recruit. I know it has something to do with Asael, and I become concerned for her well-being.
• As I stand there, memories flood my mind. Memories I have tried to bury deep within me. Memories of my childhood, of my father's fists, and my mother's curses. Everyone thinks I have a perfect family, but the truth is, it's a lie. My family paints a perfect image of what family should be like to the public, while in secret we're battling with a greater demon.
