- "Who do I think I am?" I scoff internally at her question, trying my best to hide my frustration.
- Rhea looks at me with furrowed brows, as if waiting for the answer to her question. The other meeting members also have their eyes on me, and if looks could kill, I'd probably be dead by now because the air is intense. Eryx wants to come to my aid, but I signal to him to give me the chance to handle the situation. One thing I've learned is that first impressions matter a lot, and I don't want the board of directors to think I'm a pushover. I raise my head high and bow at the table.
