Chapter 7 Seven

  • I wonder if Arini will pick up the phone again. Especially to hear Richard's voice on the other end. No, I don't. What did the old man call her for? Asking her if she was okay, what was the point?
  • Oh my god, God is good, but why is Arini's fate so bad?
  • Not to mention the reyhan who aggressively sent arini many messages. None of them were read by the girl anymore. She chose to immediately change clothes, take another shower, and sleep. That was better. She could order lunch from many delivery service apps.
  • "Damn my life." Arini rubbed her face lightly. She was now sitting in front of the dressing table in the corner of the room. Some of her skincare lined up neatly there. She deliberately decorated the large mirror with lights around it. To make it look aesthetic, she said so.
  • From the mirror's view, her face looks haggard. The look in her eyes looked uncertain, also her face implied a burden that suddenly came into her life. "Why do I have to experience this anyway?"
  • "Never mind. What happened can't be turned back, can't avoid it either unless it's accepted. Let's just say I never experienced it." Arini was determined to do so even though... "Tsk! Mr. Richard is indeed a modern-day vampire!" while taking off the dress and immediately putting it back into the paper bag. Arini didn't want to keep the clothes Richard gave her.
  • She had to throw everything away so she wouldn't remember the night that happened between them. The red traces around her chest would disappear in the next two days. After that she would learn to forget everything.
  • Including...
  • Arini sat again in front of the mirror, wearing only a bra and panties. after all, this is her boarding room, no one forbids her to be naked here, right? Unless she goes crazy, leaving the boarding room wearing only bras.
  • She looked closely at the black card on one of the dPakpet's slipcovers. Richard Alexander's name was written on it. Looking back and forth, nothing had changed but it still disturbed Arini's eyes to keep looking at it. "What am I going to do with this card?"
  • Once again, her cell phone rang. Still with a number she didn't recognize that Arini felt marked as Mr. Richard's personal number. seen unanswered calls from that number already up to ten times. "Very persistent. He said he was leaving for some business. Left me alone in the hotel. I left all these cards behind. It's like I'm getting paid for playing with him all night!"
  • Suddenly, Arini's heart burned. Maybe it was because she was able to think sane and could consider many things, especially regarding last night.
  • "What a jerk Mr. Richard is!"
  • Not using any indecision, Arini immediately swiped the green icon that appeared on the screen. "Hello!" Arini said curtly. "What's wrong?"
  • "Why didn't you pick up my call earlier?"
  • Arini rolled her eyes in annoyance. "What does he mean by giving me a card like this? I'm being paid for satisfying you all night? Is that it?"
  • "Oh my!" Richard said in a low tone. "It's not like that rin."
  • "So?" Arini's breathing was ragged. "What does that mean? You just left me like that, only to have your man give me a new paper bag with the driver. What am I, a call girl!" Arini screamed in frustration. "What a life sir!"
  • On the other side, Richard laughed. "You kick me out if I forget rin."
  • "No!"
  • "That's it. When can we meet, let's talk about last night?"
  • "No need!" Arini immediately disconnected the call. At the same time, the card Richard had given her was also thrown away in the paper bag containing the dress. She immediately put it aside to the trash can behind the door.
  • She was still very annoyed with Richard's words that seemed to take her lightly.
  • "I'd better take a shower!"
  • ***
  • It seemed like the peaceful day that Arini wanted to live was gone. How could it not. Waking up, her stomach hungry, she immediately ordered gofood. Her intention was that after eating, she would take down all the trash that filled her room.
  • Unfortunately, that didn't happen because when she took the order downstairs, there was Rieka who was already sitting waiting for her.
  • "You didn't reply to my message, rin."
  • Arini said nothing, assuming that Rieka didn't exist. Why consider a friend who betrayed her blatantly.
  • "Rin." Rieka called her back. "You don't want to talk to me?
  • Arini's steps towards the stairs stopped again. "Who are you?"
  • Rieka smiled slightly. For some reason, Arini was fed up. Arini made a much more cynical face than usual.
  • "I want us to talk with a cool head. I want to explain what really happened."
  • Arini's eyes still didn't want to drop their cynicism. "No need. Why do you need to explain. I know enough about the capacity of my best friend's ex." Arini pressed her words about her ex. Her chest throbbed with pain.
  • The scene of kissing, making out, and the look of rieka that was reciprocated by reyhan, she remembered again. Arini is not a blind person who can't see the attraction between them.
  • "It's not what you think rin."
  • Arini became even more annoyed. She got angry. She immediately turned around and slapped Rieka on the cheek. Hard. She was so red with anger. "It's not what I had in mind, is it? Do you think I'm stupid?"
  • Rieka felt unacceptable with the slap that touched her cheek. "I haven't explained yet but you're already rude rin? I didn't expect you to be this bold!"
  • "Yes! So what?" Arini looked at her with a challenging look. Her chest puffed out even more. She didn't care about the friendship she'd had for the past four years. She felt that Rieka was too mean and didn't use her heart in their friendship.
  • "It's appropriate that Reyhan chose me to be his future wife. You don't deserve to be Reyhan's partner, Arini!"
  • Arini's eyes bulged in disbelief but then she laughed. Very loud. It didn't matter that they were now a spectacle. Most of the boarders came out of their rooms because they heard Arini screaming. The commotion that occurred also invited Mrs. Sinta to come out of her room.
  • "Thank God for being good to me. Let me know how low you two are in your relationship. Even though you clearly know I'm still dating Reyhan, there's no need. Just pretend I've broken up and go ahead, you take my ex. Take as much as you want." Arini approached Rieka. "There's also no need for friendship between us. Why be friends with someone who likes to take what his best friend has."
  • Then once again, one of Arini's slaps landed right on the reddish mark that was still visible on Rieka's cheek.
  • "The price for people who don't know themselves is like that."
  • "What's going on?" asked Mrs. Sinta in astonishment. She didn't think that Arini could do something like that. what's going on? Earlier she had to persuade reyhan to go home because it seemed like arini didn't want to meet the young man.
  • And now? rieka? Why did she have to slap him? Even though as far as sinta knows the two of them are close and good friends. "What's wrong with you rieka? Arini?"
  • Arini didn't answer. She chose to go back to her room. She held back her eyes that were heating up because of Rieka's words. So it was true, they were playing with fire behind her back. I don't know since when Arini didn't know. But hearing Rieka talk like that, their relationship must be much more serious than what Arini experienced.
  • Damn those two.
  • "Your ex is reyhan alexander rin. Not just any guy. He doesn't deserve you!"
