• I walked towards Ariana's wing angrily thinking about why Yvonne hasn't given me a reply. Fifty thousand dollars isn't too small. It can go a long way in her life with the connections I have. I scoffed angrily as I recalled what father told me. They were playing lovey Dovey on the stairs. I'm damn sure she doesn't like him. Even if he does, she's my Mate. Yea, she is.
• "Where are you going?" I heard the queen called out as I scoffed loudly, looking at her with disdain. She annoys me. She acts as if she's my real mother and wants control over our lives. Jeff is too weak and that's why she controls her but she can't control me. I would never accept her as my real mother.
