Chapter 29

• Yvonne's POV
• Being my first day at the training academy, I feel so lonely and naive, no one tends to look at me and I don't try to socialize either. I wonder if they know who I am because I'm always putting on my facemask. I don't think they know me, even the instructors, except the senior instructors mom met with and those aren't the ones handling us for the training.
• At 8 AM, we have our breakfast which consists of a piece of cheesecake and tea. At first, I was happy to be eating this but then I realized the stress we would be passing through, then I regret ever being happy for this kind of light meal. At home and in the palace I live in, I eat this in addition with a thicker breakfast which will hold me till the next hour I'm going to eat. If I ate like this before I got pregnant, then what should I expect now that I'm with a baby inside me. I will have to eat more. No wonder why mom told me that I'm going to meet some challenges as I come here, I have no other choice but to be strong. This one week I'm going to spend here wouldn't kill me, rather it would make me stronger and more resilient. I need to be the type of mate that would fit into a perfect luna queen, a luna that rules beside her Alpha King, exerting much authority and fearlessness.
