Chapter 215 Picking a Fight

• Ben Walton wandered through the store, lost in thought. Then he walked out the front door and followed the route he’d just taken. Sure enough, a stretch of road ahead was piled with construction materials. The ground was pitted and muddy. And that was on a sunny day—if it rained, it would be a mess.
• “Manager, why do I feel like this Assistant to President is kinda weird?” As soon as Ben stepped out, a few clerks huddled together, whispering about him.
• Right when their chatter was in full swing, a knock sounded at the back door. They froze. That door was only for deliveries. No one outside the staff should even know it existed. So who would be knocking? The manager, puzzled, went over and opened it.
