• The universe has a sense of humor, and apparently its favorite bit is putting me in a room with Vienna Cole every single week for the rest of the semester.
• Professor Marlowe posted the pairings for the spring showcase project Wednesday morning four-person teams, plating a full dessert course for the culinary department's annual open house — and when I scrolled to my name my stomach dropped clean through the floor before my brain even finished reading the other three.
