Chapter 57 The Escape
- Third-Person POV
- Brianna woke up very early in the morning. The sky outside her small window was still dark. The colors in the sky were deep blue and grey. Not even one bird was singing yet. The forest outside was quiet. The cold air inside the room made her skin feel like ice. Everything was still. Silent.
- Her body hurt badly. It felt like someone had dropped heavy rocks on her. Every bone, every muscle in her body was in pain. Her head was pounding like someone had been hitting it over and over again during the night. She felt dizzy. She moved slowly, using the wall behind her to help her sit up. It took a lot of effort just to rise.
