Chapter 6 Alpha Xander's Human Mate 6

• Xander POV ~
• After the most uncomfortable lunch in my life, mom told me to see her in her office for something urgent. Damn Alissa! Can’t she keep something to herself for once? I strolled to her room and found her and Allen making out. They seemed not to take notice of me so I grabbed a pillow and threw it at them.
• “Xander!!!” Alissa cried out.
• “Dude!” Allen also said at the same time with her. I see why they are meant for each other.
• “Why did you bang into my room like that? Do you owe this visit to my dearest brother? I mean I can’t remember the last time you came into my room”. Alissa sweetly said as if she didn't know why I was here.
• “Did you or didn’t tell the pack members about me finding my mate?”. I growled at her and immediately Allen stood up and stood between us. Trust a werewolf to always be over protective about his mate.
• “Didn’t not!” Alissa childishly stuck her tongue out. I gave a look that said I didn’t believe her even a bit.
• “I actually didn’t! Well I just told Aunt Eunice and Mom that’s all. But you do know that walls have ears so maybe that’s how everyone else heard of it or maybe the rest of kids from school told them. It might be Ivory, Jenny or any of them”. Alissa defended herself. I honestly didn’t know how I ended up with her as a sibling. She is a big pain in the neck. She always does this. Cause trouble and then have a perfect abili to prove that she isn’t the one.
• Not knowing what to say again, I furiously left her room and went in the direction of mom’s office. I stopped at the door and took a deep breath because I felt that I needed to do that because of the discussion I am about to have with mom.
• Well here goes nothing I said and knocked at the door.
• “ you can come in”. Mom's sweet voice called from inside the office.
• I took a deep breath again and entered the office. I noticed that mom is yet to lift up her head from the papers in front of her. Honestly, she is trying. Since dad has been away, mom has been the one doing his job and hers at the same time. Thank God he is coming back in two weeks. I cleared my throat to let her know that I am around because it seems that she has forgotten about me being here.
• “Oh Xander! Sorry I didn't see you there. Have a seat. Let me around up and then we will talk okay?”. She pointed to the sofa at the left side of the office and turned her head back to her work. After about five minutes, she was done and came to join me on the sofa seat.
• “How many times do I have to tell you Xander, you don’t have to knock before you enter my office”. Mom stated.
• “Yeah right! After what I saw that day, I am very much okay with knocking the door.” I said remembering that exact incident that I wish will vanish from my memories.
• I was used to entering my parents office ice without knocking. I mean why should I knock it’s my parents office after all. Until one day where I walk in on mom and dad doing “the deeds” on mom’s office table. My poor innocent fifteen year old mind was corrupted. I avoided looking at dad and mom’s face for months.
• “On Xander! It’s been three years, I thought you had forgotten about the incident!”. Mom covered her face as she blushed.
• “For my own sanity, I wish I had forgotten about it too mom”. I replied to her with a small smile. I never imagined myself watching life porn, my parents own too for the matter of fact.
• “Okay! Okay! Enough of the embarrassment, that’s not what I called you for”. Mom said will still blush and try to form a serious face. I gave a nod to continue with what she wanted to say. Although I can bet with my last cash that she is going to talk about my mate”.
• “So… how are you?”. Mom started up.
• I gave mom a look that said “seriously mom?”.
• “Okay so maybe that’s not the best way to start off. I heard you have found your mate, how do you feel about that?.” Mom asked in a motherly voice she usually uses when giving advice.
• “Honestly speaking, I didn’t know mom. I didn’t even know how am feeling. A greater part of me is happy that i have finally found her, another part of me is confused and another part it’s afraid.”. I truthfully told mom about how am feeling.
• “It’s okay to feel afraid. Everyone does at first. The first time you find your mate, although your wolf is happy and excited, he is also afraid and insecure beca there is part of him that keeps telling him that he might get rejected. It’s nothing to worry about, it's a normal feeling”. Mom explained.
• That explains the unnecessary anxiety I have been feeling since I saw her.
• “But mom, I don’t know what to do. I mean she is a human. I am supposed to walk up to her or what?”. I asked her the question that has been the reason for my confusion.
• “Oh no! Well that would have work if she is a werewolf too. But since she is a human, you have toast and win her heart in the human way”. Mom winked at me.
• “But what if she doesn’t like me at all?”.
• “What nonsense! Have you looked at yourself in the mirror? No girl can say no to you. Plus she will be the mate bond between you although it won’t be as strong as the one between werewolves unless you are mated. But for one it will come to her as if she has a crush on you and it is your duty to make that crush turn into love you get?” Mom further explained and I nodded my head in understanding.
• “But how mom? How am I going to approach her?”. I wanted more additional ideas apart from the ones I googled.
• “Well that will be up to you, follow your mind. But whatever you do, don’t be too slow , if not before you know it, she will steal her right under your nose”. Mom stated and my wolf growled at the idea of mate dating someone else.
• “Tell me you at least know her name?” Mom questioned and I shook my head indicating no.
• “Well my boy, you have a long way to go. You can ask your sister for help. As crazy as it might be, she can be of good help to you. Since apparently she and your mate are classmates, get Alissa to befriend and through that, you can get to know more about her and her interests and also have reasons for her to engage in a conversation with you. What do you think?”. Mom suggested.
• It might not be a bad idea. That's if Alissa wasn’t my sister because asking that girl for favor, it’s like the devil.
• “It’s not a bad idea actually. Mom, will you talk to Alissa on my behalf l?”. I pleaded because I know that Alissa will not date a disobedient mom.
• “Nope! It’s your mate, we are talking about her Xander. You have to swallow your pride and ask her yourself”. Mom stated in a commanding voice that’s means it’s finally.
• “Okay mom!”.
• And just like that, mom and I spend the whole afternoon having a mom and son bond.

• After dinner was over, I made my way to Alissa’s room for the second time today. I decided to knock this time around to avoid unnecessary drama.
• “Come in! dearest brother! I have geek expecting you.” Alissa started with an evil look on her face.
• “Good evening to you too, my dearest lovely sister!”. I greeted her as I made my way into the room and sat near her on her bed.
• Alissa quickly shot up from her bed; “am I turning deaf or is the world coming to an end”.
• I rolled my eyes at how dramatic it was behaving. I knew this would be a bad idea.
• After ranting dramatically up and down, she finally settled down.
• “So what can I do for you?” She inquired
• “Well, I need your help …”.
• She cuts me off without waiting for me to finish talking. “ I knew it! I knew you needed something from me! Anyway, what can I do for you dearest brother?
• I sat still for a few seconds before I took a deep breath and said all at once; “Ineedyoutohelpmeandtalktomymatesothaticanknowmoreaouther”.
• “Calm down brother, nobody is chasing you. I didn’t get you. Come again!”. Alissa said in a mockery voice.
• That’s it! I can’t do this, I will look for another way. I stood up to take my leave. It was useless coming here.
• “Oh! Come on brother, I am just joking. I know why you are here. And of course I will help you out. After all, I want a sister-in-law.” Alissa said.
• I acted as if I didn’t hear her and went out of the room.
