Chapter 57 Watch It All Come Crashing Down

• It had been five days since I received that text from Daphne, and following that, she’d been ignoring all my texts. At first, I was filled with confusion and didn’t know what to make of it. Whenever I tried to call her, the responder said her number was currently unavailable. As you can imagine, it was hard not to worry about these things.
• After Dad was discharged, Daphne and I both agreed that I would stay away so as not to provoke Quinn into doing something rash, but now, after a cryptic message of her saying she needed space, I might be the one moved to do something rash. I had a mind to go over the house just to see Daphne and find out what the matter was, but I wanted to respect her wishes. Also, I didn’t want to cause stress to her baby.
