Chapter 4 Good News

• The Rolls Royce stopped in front of the hospital.
• “Sir, are you sure this is the hospital?” Li Zhe asked in disbelief.
• The hospital was not so big, it looked so……..lost.
• “Are you questioning me?” Nevan asked, obviously displeased,
• “No no, I'm sorry. Permit me sir but this hospital… Isn't it a bit poor” Li Zhe asked, analyzing the hospital with a look that screamed ‘disdain’.
• “If you can't use your brain, keep your mouth shut!” Nevan got down from the car himself and went into the hospital.
• Li Zhe realised that he was still sitting in the car, he immediately got down from the car and ran to catch up with Nevan.
• This action left the driver in the car laughing his heart out.
• The manager of the hospital came out to welcome Nevan,
• “Young master, you're very welcome” he said, bowing ninety degrees
• “I'll show you around” The man said and scurried ahead into the hospital.
• Alessandro's P. O. V
• “Boss, Gabriel's here to see you” one of my workers informed me
• “Oh ok, I'll be out soon” I said.
• I wrapped up what I was doing and walked out of my small room in the cafe. I saw him sitting down beside the counter.
• “What's up! , you finally remembered me?”I asked
• “Did I ever forget you?” he asked back and I shrugged
• I didn't respond so he spoke up again.
• “What's with your cafe, its looking so… off”
• “What do you mean?” I asked,
• “Your cafe doesn't seem like before, does it?” he asked and I shrugged again.
• “What are you shrugging for? Don't tell me you're helping Serena again” he squinted his eyes at me,
• “So what?” I asked nonchalantly
• “What is ‘so what’? Do you like her?” he asked, a smirk forming on his face
• “Stop talking nonsense, I have a girlfriend!” I said sternly,
• “Girlfriend you say? You don't treat Maria like your girlfriend” he said,
• “How do I treat her then?” I asked,
• “You're asking me? Ok, When's she coming back?” he asked,
• “Probably next week or so” I answered, very unsure of my answer,
• “What? You don't even know when you're girlfriend is coming back? I'm sure you know what time Serena comes to visit you” he said, his brows furrowing.
• “Is this what you came for? , please leave” I said, feeling very annoyed,
• This guy was so annoying!!
• “Now you want me to go, I won't!. You're girlfriend is coming back tomorrow, what are you going to do?” he asked again,
• “What do you mean?” I asked,
• “Now I'm very convinced that you like Serena” he said
• “Get out! Now!”I said.
• I was so pissed out!!
• “Why're you angry, I'm just telling the truth” he said,
• “Serena is just like my little sister, nothing else!” I said.
• “Well, whatever. I know you like her and I don't understand why you don't want to admit it. I even think she likes you too, don't you think so too?” he said,
• “Can you please leave now!” I said almost shouting,
• “Ok ok, I'm leaving now. I didn't intend to stay longer” he said gettting up from the stool he was sitting on and walked outside.
• I walked back into my work room, thinking excessively about what Gabriel said.
• No. No, I can't fall in with love Serena!
• I can't!.

• Nevan looked at the petite and small figure that had bumped into him just a second ago.
• “I'm.. I'm really sorry, I didn't see you coming” she said as she looked up at him.
• Nevan was stunned, although he had seen many beautiful women before, this little one in front of him was a little above the bar.
• She looked like she was woven out of 3D animation, small and exquisite porcelain doll like face, pink and small lips, pointed….
• Wait! Was he checking her out?!
• Although he was stunned, he didn't let his emotions show. He didn't respond to her apologies, he walked past her like he never even saw her in the first place.
• “How…. weird” he heard her mutter as he passed her.
• By afternoon, Nevan was done looking around the hospital.
• The manager handed over a document to Li Zhe as he congratulated Nevan,
• “Young master, congratulations. You're now the owner of this hospital”
• “What's there to congratulate me for?”
• The manager “....”
• To Nevan, this small hospital could not even be called an achievement.
• He walked out of the manager's office leaving the manager very confused on what he did wrong.
• Nevan walked out of the hospital, towards his car but he abruptly stopped. He turned his head to the side and saw the saw doll like faced woman that bumped into him earlier, talking to a man who looked like a doctor.
• “I want every information about her before night fall” he took another glanced at her before walking to his car.
• “Yes master” Li Zhe bowed and opened the car door for Nevan.
• They got to the white magnificent villa. Nevan got down from the car and entered the villa.
• He was walking up the stairs when his phone rang. He stopped and Li Zhe, who was at the bottom of the stairs rushed up to give him his phone.
• “Master, here's your phone” Li Zhe handed Nevan his phone.
• Upon seeing the caller ID, Nevan's calm, cold and indifferent attitude softened alot!.
• Li Zhe mouth was in an ‘o’ shape realising who it was on the phone.
• “Hello, Nevan, have you gotten home?” a very soft feminine voice came from the phone,
• “Yes I have” Nevan answered going up the stairs,
• “Umm.. I'm very sorry that I couldn't call earlier, I wasn't with my phone, please don't be angry” the female over the phone spoke very gently.
• This made Nevan smile.
• “You know I can't get angry at you” Nevan said, in a very indulging tone,
• “Really? I'm very happy about that. I have good news, would you like to hear it?” the feminine voice asked seeming very excited.
• “Sure, tell me” Nevan said, a soft smile plastered on his face.
