• The next day happened to be the get together reunion that Violet had told her about. Throughout the previous night She was on a call with Violet who wanted to make sure Laura would be able to make it to the event without any troubles and also have all what she needed to bake ready.
• With the amount of scrutiny Violet had Put into the pasteries, Laura began to feel extremely pressured as the weight of her words settled heavily on her shoulders. No room for errors.
• Here she was, in the back area of the kitchen panicking. Maddie wasn’t picking her calls even though she had been redialing. Laura didn’t want to go alone, she wasn’t mentally prepared for all of that.
