Chapter 155
- Theo’s POV
- I hear the car pull away and listen until the sound fades before heading toward the office. I can’t sit still. I can’t go out to a restaurant and pretend to be normal when I’m anything but. The thought alone makes my skin crawl. I open my laptop and log into the shared work account. Nathan thinks I don’t know what he’s hiding, but he really should remember that Greg sends updates to all three of us. We’ve always shared access. It’s not like I go looking through his things, but when something like this hits my inbox, I’m not going to ignore it.
- Right there, at the top of the file, is Greg’s warning. “Keep Theo out of it.” Like hell. That warning might as well have been an invitation.
