• The doorbell had never rung before, but this time it did, getting Grey's attention from bed. He rushed downstairs still with a sleepy face, aimed for the door, then opened it. There was a letter. Grey didn't bother checking if someone scaled the fence or walked through the gate to drop it, there were certain tricks he wasn't going to understand and he knew it. He got up to his room, dropped the letter on the bed, and sought to do his morning devotion. When he was done, he tore open the letter:
• Dear Mr. Garrett,
• You're no longer authorized to speak to the watch. Thank you for the brief conversation last night. For your mission today, you're to head to the office and wait till noon.
