Chapter 29 Missing: Sapphire

• That midnight, Emperor Claus returned to the palace with the unconscious body of Emery. The supposedly dead night awakened the maidservants and even the royal physician as the emperor demanded immediate treatment towards the woman he spent months searching for. And, of course, the news had reached the Whitmore mansion, where the emperor's fiancee was spending the night in her office.
• “What do you mean they have found Emery Trigon?” Lady Serena asked as she was getting changed so she could go to the mansion of the emperor to confirm the news herself.
• “I… I have no idea, Your Ladyship. All I heard was that His Imperial Highness went on a midnight hunt with his knights and they found her wounded in the forest,” one of the maidservants replied.
