Chapter 25 Escalation
- The first warehouse went up in flames at dawn.
- Lucien stood on the pavement, hands shoved in his coat pockets as the fire lit his face in shades of gold and ruin. Smoke curled into the morning sky like a silent scream. He didn’t flinch. Didn’t blink. Just watched as a part of his empire turned to ash, brick by burning brick.
- No survivors. No warning.
