• As Christian drove back to the mansion with Scarlett by his side, there was a heavy silence between them. Scarlett couldn't help but sense the tension emanating from Christian's clenched jaw and the tight grip on the steering wheel.
• "Christian," she finally broke the silence, her voice feigning concern. "What's going on? You seemed... upset back there."
• Christian sighed, his eyes briefly flickering toward Scarlett before returning to the road. "It's just... seeing you with my father and his associates like that, it bothered me."
