- That afternoon, drizzles of rain streaked the large glass windows in Mr. Gale’s living room. Barbra busied herself adjusting the table decorations, ensuring the flowers in the vase were perfectly arranged. Greta stood near the door, holding a tray of freshly prepared tea.
- Barbra glanced at the wall clock, her face tense.
