Chapter 11 A Shopping Spree
- Kathy savored every bite of the exquisite French cuisine. Though partial to French food, she found herself impressed by the authentic flavors of the air-flown ingredients. Even the foie gras, a dish she normally avoided, won her over in a warm salad. The simple yet decadent truffle scrambled eggs and her favorite dessert, a perfectly crafted soufflé, left her utterly satisfied.
- Cravings sated, Kathy's mood lightened as Peterson led her on an impromptu shopping trip. Browsing, she casually asked, "Who usually helps with your wardrobe?"
- "Chris and Wendy," Peterson replied, eyes skimming the racks. "They pre-select items, I choose, and everything's delivered to my apartment."
