Chapter 9 Training Begins

• Elara woke to the smell of something actually edible for once, and found Lira sitting cross-legged at the foot of her bed with a tray balanced on her knees like she'd been waiting for permission to start eating and had decided, several minutes ago, that permission was overrated.
• "Morning," Lira said, mouth full. "Eat fast. Kael wants you on the training mat in an hour, and I'd like to get through 'basic werewolf culture 101' before he starts throwing you around."
• "Throwing me around. Wonderful. Very reassuring vocabulary choice to wake up to." Elara sat up, accepted the tray, and immediately regretted asking, "Okay, hit me. Culture 101. What do I need to know before I accidentally commit some horrifying faux pas and get exiled?"
