• “Where do you think you’re looking?” Martinez shouted as he swung upwards at Queen.
• The punch struck home. Queen had been completely distracted upon seeing Hanna in Rodney’s clutches and was unable to react to his counter. Martinez’s fist struck Queen squarely in the jaw, knocking her off from him and onto the parking lot next to him. Then, seizing the moment, Martinez jumped back onto his feet before kicking out at a dazed Queen.
• Queen blinked hard; Martinez’s punch had made her see stars. However, just as her eye’s focus was lining up, Martinez’s foot tore into her torso. Once more, Queen was sent skittering away across the pavement. If it were not for her skintight suit absorbing some of the blow, that kick might have outright shattered her rib cage.
