Chapter 55

Tears welled up in her eyes as she stepped down from the podium, and Damon wrapped his arm around her shoulders, guiding her as they made their way back to their seats. In the distance, Brian and Sia watched silently. Brian’s face was void of emotions. He had come to pay his respects, to honor the man who had helped him become who he was today. The man who didn't care only about his family but also everyone around him.
As the service drew to a close, the casket was lowered into the ground. Raven, Damon, and Julie stood together, their hands intertwined, offering each other the only comfort they could. Justin stepped forward taking Julie’s hand in his. He wanted to be there for his family.
