Chapter 12 Not a weak surrogate

  • I sat down elegantly exhaling and inhaling silently as I tried to calm my racing heart. I've never had this kind of feeling before. It was new to me. Everything around me was new, I was quiet as I tried to keep calm while Victor dug through the pile of files on his table stacked together. He seemed focused, I had to say he was calm. It was hard to understand or describe his personality at first sight which gave a big disadvantage of knowing exactly if he was upset or happy. His facial expression was emotionless and his brown eyes showed a little hint of sadness which disappeared immediately after it emerged, he looked to be in his 30s, or was he in his early twenties. But I didn't come to understand people or try to make them happy. My job was strictly to get pregnant give birth to a baby pack my bags and exit their lives just like I entered
  • "Let's go through some of my rules, shall we...Ms. Payton, you should be aware that I hate people who lie to me"the man startled me when he spoke when I least expected and I looked up calming my nerves as I nodded at his words. Yes no one loved liars, even I hated liars to a core but if he heard my life problems which would end with his money then he would know why I made up a tiny lie about my age
  • "You'll be carrying my child...that's a big deal...a lot of millions will be paid to you if the job is done successively" he added as he flipped a few pages keeping his eyes away and like a good innocent girl I was, I sat there rubbing my hands together which rested on my laps as I listened to more of his imposing rules. I was aware of what my job was, there was no need of reminding me of it but I couldn't say that to his face because with just a punch I'd be thrown out the window
