Chapter 9 The drunk man

• Immediately I pushed the door open, I was stunned by the breathtaking office, it was nothing like I have ever seen before. Slowly I took a step in hesitating to proceed inside, was I clean enough to be in such a place. The walls, as well as the floor, were painted white. My eyes wandered around and spotted the large glass desk which was to the left side. There were a few stairs to get to the desk which I assumed was the boss's office because there were some files neatly kept to the sides with a computer and other things. I narrowed my eyes not sure why the room was empty, I was told the boss was inside hence I stopped in my tracks not sure if to go further in and just as I was about to turn I heard movements and only then did I realize the office was big, maybe gigantic was the worst to use and when I walked in I was stunned to see a lounge, nice furniture and a man dressed in a navy blue suit was sitting with his back turned to me.
• "Come" I got startled when he spoke in an alluring voice which sounded very fascinating and powerful at the same time that I felt scared as I walked to the lounge but just then, the man rose to his feet and turned to me and I froze seeing his face. My eyes widened instantly, not sure if I was seeing the correct thing. I was a little dramatic as I rubbed my eyes hoping it was the same man I was seeing. Not rugged up but neat, in his suit which made him look exceptionally handsome. He wasn't looking at me but he seemed to be getting something on the table and once he got a red file. He looked up at me and our eyes met, he paused for a while and I automatically smiled as I rushed closer to him still perplexed
