Chapter 34 Get Back With George

• Lotus woke up to the sound of her alarm clock buzzing, signaling the start of a new day. She groggily sat up in bed, rubbing her eyes before glancing at the clock to see the time. It was already 6:30 AM. The children would need to get dressed for school. Though a part of her was sad that Peter didn't return back but she kept reminding herself that the marriage shouldn't be her only life.

• She hurriedly dressed herself and then proceeded to James and Jenny's room. The twins were still fast asleep, their small bodies curled up beneath the blankets. Lotus gently shook them awake, whispering softly, "Come on, you two. We need to get ready for school."
