Chapter 136 Billionaire's Lies
- Benedict closed Saben's door quietly, not wanting to make any noise. Sabrina was still smiling at him with this little heart swelling at seeing her child being so tenderly cared for by him. They both smiled and looked at each other to show that they were relieved Saben finally slept after all that commotion in the day.
- And then they walked down that hallway hand in hand down to Sabrina's room. The house was quiet, the muffled hum of distant rain the only sound as they stepped inside. Sabrina turned on the small lamp, its warm glow filling the room. She sat on the bed, on the side. She was exhausted from everything that happened. Benedict was standing there for a minute or so, when he unbuttoned his jacket and began to loosen the tie as if to undo the tension in the air.
- Sabrina watched him, her brow furrowed in concern. "You should get some rest," she said softly, her voice carrying an undercurrent of worry. "You've been carrying so much today."
