Chapter 53

• Samuel ended up selling his mansion and the apartment he bought after he proposed to me. Since we were starting a family, it felt right to stick to one place we can call home. So he bought a house close to his office. Isabelle warned me not to call it 'a house' that it's 'a gorgeous portable mansion.' Not too big, not too small, just the perfect size for us to raise our family and house our guests and staff.
• I smiled as I connected my hand to the handle of my princess's door. I have no idea if she was awake but I know she would be happy to see me. Since I got heavy with the twins, Sam was always the one that wakes her up early in the morning. He would go to her room, spend some time with her, clean her up and they would both bring me breakfast in bed. Heaven knows I look forward to the little time we spend together as a family every morning.
• I opened the door to my princess's room and helped myself in, quietly shutting the door behind me. My sweetheart is awake. She's watching some morning cartoons on her iPad.
