• With an extremely heavy heart, Gabriella withdrew her phone from her ear and placed it on the counter before her. Her eyes were heavy with tears. She could imagine all the untrue and horrible thoughts that were going through her parents' mind and head.
• "I've never thought evil or wished evil on anyone and neither have I ever come in the way of anybody's happiness. I just want to be happy with the man I love. Is it too much to ask for?"
