Chapter 48

• Gabriella occupied herself with random thoughts as she sipped the remaining hot chocolate in her mug. She put the mug away when she was done, picked up her phone and went back to her bedroom.
• She plopped down on she and Sam's king-size bed, laid on her back and stared at the ceiling as if it had answers to all of her worries.
• After a couple of minutes staring at the poor ceiling and having some internal conversations with herself, Gabby rose to her feet and proceeded to the adjoined bathroom with her phone.
