Chapter 14

The following week turned out to be a busy one for everyone. Gabby and Sam didn't get the chance to see each other but they kept in touch via calls and text messages, with the both of them looking forward to their weekend getaway. Gabby did some extra readings and assignments during the week, knowing she wouldn't have time to do them on the weekend.
After what felt like a million years, Friday finally came. By 2:40, Gabriella was all set and waiting for Sam to come to pick her up. She had packed all the stuff she would need for the weekend. She got comfortable on the sofa and occupied herself with her phone until she heard the sound of her doorbell.
Gab came face to face with Samuel who was looking yummy in his casual clothes.
