Chapter 80 The Witch's Specimen

  • Veryl, the tall black-suited man, slid the bus door open on their arrival, as Raven stepped out and walked towards a dark castle. The castle, a haunted one, had its turrets reaching towards the dark, ominous sky like skeletal fingers. At the entrance, two hulking vampire men stood at both sides of the bar, actively guarding the castle doors. Their eyes were fixed on Raven's figure as she approached them.
  • With a synchronized bow, they parted to allow her passage, their hands deftly twisting the door handle open. Raven acknowledged their silent greeting with a curt nod before walking into the dark, opulent living room, followed by Veryl, who had driven her home.
  • The room inside looked grim and spacious. Its interior design was a deliberate blend of dark, rich textures and cleverly crafted shadows that banished any hint of sunlight. For precautionary measures, the dark style, architectural work was repeated throughout the castle to avert even the slightest sun rays from straying into the building.
