Chapter 108 The Mating Night

• In the bathroom, Karen stood before the framed mirror, wrapped in a white towel that covered her porcelain skin. With a second towel in hand, she gently patted her damp hair, having just stepped out of a warm night shower. Tonight, she was going to meet Alpha Damion for an intimate night on his consent, after he had pondered throughout the day before finally agreeing to her proposal.
• She glanced down to the white countertop below the mirror, where a row of cosmetic bottles were kept in an orderly arrangement. They consisted of hair creams, body lotions, and deodorants, which were among the numerous gifts from Damion during one of his failed attempts to win her back.
• In the past, she had vehemently rejected the items because she purposely didn't want to have anything to do with him. Yet now, she was forced to use them, to enhance her appearance for the very person she wished to forget.
