• Karen's haste had inadvertently led to an unexpected collision with Mrs Lucille, who emitted a low growl of annoyance at their contact.
• "Watch it, bitch! Why are you so clumsy? Did you have to touch me before you knew that I was here?" The haughty woman snapped, her tone dripping with anger as she brushed off the spot where Karen had inadvertently bumped into her.
• Feeling a surge of panic, Karen stammered out an apology, "Gosh! I'm so sorry, ma'am. I had seen you walk into this corner, but I didn't realize you hadn't gone far from the entrance." She explained, silently praying that this mishap wouldn't earn her more dislike from the sadistic woman.
