• "That's by the way dear, I wanted to talk about Douglas. See how terrible his current situation is. My dream is to get that young man out of jail but along the way I need some close assistance. Will I be able to trust you? It's a question to test your loyalty, more than any, I need your honesty."
• Eva looked straight into my eyes, with all elements of seriousness. "I will be truly honest and loyal to you. I can't betray you, you know that." I thought to myself, recalling how Eva had been loyal to me right from the first day I employed her into my foundation. She has never given me any reason to question her loyalty. I can trust her with the secrets concerned with rescuing Douglas but I'll not tell her not anyone else where I come from.
