• “Are you alright, Eira? You have tears in your eyes,” Daisy’s question called my attention back to reality.
• Brushing the tears off my eyes, “I’m fine. Just excited with the news. We’ll finally get to enter the mansion.” I lied.
• “Yeah!!! I’m excited too,” she hugged me tightly, and strangely, it felt like I needed that hug for comfort. Breaking off the hug, “Let’s finish up here quickly. We need to wash and press our uniforms before dawn.” She picked up a hoe closer to mine and began to dig the soil.
