• I hated fighting with Sebastian. It left me feeling empty on the inside and my wolf was numb. She wanted us to apologize for overreacting. I wasn’t sure what came over me all of sudden, but at that moment, all I could see was red.
• I shuddered at the memory of the morning and tried to brush it out of my head. I was at work now and I had a job to do. My patients weren’t going to cure themselves. Thankfully, Liam was looking a little better than he had the morning before. So, that was one less thing I had to stress about.
