Chapter 23 The Tournament

• The tournament was almost over by the time Rachel arrived. Jesse was fighting the last person who was Alpha Zane. All forty-nine participants were either in their Wolf form, injured in human form or passed out.
• She sat close to Lily who leaned on her from nervousness. It seems she didn't notice her absence.
• Zane glimpsed Lily's way nodding in assurance then picked two-edged swords from the blacksmith forge swinging them. He doesn't shift either which pleased Jesse who was analyzing his stance: the way he moves, raises his feet, swings his swords, or his bulging muscles. He took notes of them all.
