Chapter 15 Mate Bond

• The whirlwind hit Rachel yet she didn't stop running due to anxiety. She has given in to the mate bond hereby kissing him in the process. Her stiletto heels echoed as she kept running gasping on the way to nowhere in particular recalling the look on his face when she withdrew from the kiss and ran off.
• Still, on her heels, she ran as fast as her legs could carry her and stopped as her breathing was getting shallow. Air gushed into her lungs making her breathing ragged thus leaned on a tree coughing.
• The adrenaline rush had worn off by the time she realized where she was. A weird feeling engulfed her as she notices the serene environment: mainly tall trees. She tore the hem of her red dress roaming the forest trying to find her way back. A twig creaked then another and another. She looked around and discovered she was surrounded by wolves. Vicious wolves. She looked closely and noticed they were starved and deadly.
