• I took another look around the cabin, searching for a door that this peculiar key could open. When I found nothing, and none of my efforts proved to be progressive, I went back into the room to finish clearing up. I was able to move most of the books up to the shelves, and I even managed to stack them categorically. The place was looking great already, like a Gothic tree house. Then I started cleaning. I got a brush from a corner of the room where he probably kept his cleaning supplies. I swept out the dirt from under the table and chair and beside the shelves. But as I tried to reach under the bed, something was obstructing the movement of my brush. I tried to reach in again and maybe push the object out of my way, but it wouldn’t budge. Then, I decided to raise the mattress and see what exactly was under it.
• And I did. There it was, a bronze box--like a treasure chest--was staring back at me. My heart leaped over its cage.
