• IRENE’S POV
• I woke up suddenly to the sound of clanging bells and footsteps of people running and loud screaming. What the hell was going on? I walked up hurriedly to the doors but as I was about to swing them open, I stopped. What exactly was going on there? What if there was an actual vampire out there? Was I fortified to fight one off? Oh, fuck it. I’m one of the most powerful witches out there. Vampires had never scared me before. I reached out to open the doors but they wouldn’t budge. I looked in between the locks and found that they were locked from the outside. Why was I locked in? Ethan was definitely behind this. The screaming and hullabaloo outside were intensifying. Was this a normal thing on full moons? It was a full moon tonight? Maybe one of them was wolfing out--extremely? I thought about jumping out of one of the windows but they were too small, and not worth it. While I was worried, I wasn’t apprehensive because let’s face it, this is a wolf community. They were not peaceful animals, especially not on a full moon. And Ethan hasn’t even shown up to check on me yet. I had no idea if this was good or bad yet. If he hasn’t checked up on me yet, does it mean it wasn’t that serious or he just didn’t care?
