• I stood by the mirror, adjusting the collar of the blouse I had chosen, trying to ignore the sinking feeling in my stomach. The feeling that told me that something was going to happen, that's something that was not going to go as I planned for it to be, but I knew that this thunderstorm was going to erupt the second that I chose to accept the job.
