Chapter 27 Brittany's Departure

• Alpha Clause's words sent delightful shivers through my body and my body heated up at what he meant. My cheeks heated up too in a blush and I suddenly felt shy as I mumbled, "Okay."
• The dinner soon finished and we all went home, that was after exchanging numbers with all Lunas. As we entered the pack house, we saw something very surprising. Beta Connor was making his way to the door with his suitcase in his hand while Brittany rushed after him. Alpha Clause looked shocked and so did I as he asked him, "Where are you going, Beta Connor?"
• "I'm sorry, Alpha, but I have to leave because I can't stand being around my mate when she rejected me for you. It hurts too much for me to continue staying here." Beta Connor answered him as his face looked pained.
